Princess Carolyn shows up at Mr. Peanutbutter's house, to find it smelling of skunk and marijuana, courtesy of Todd smoking a joint. In Mr. Peanutbutter's Boos, in a flashback from 1993, Mr. Peanutbutter is inside the closet of his new home, dressed as a hippie. Divorce Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane's divorce is a good look at intimacy and relationships. He always wears a grey V-neck t-shirt and aviator sunglasses, usually propped on his head, with light blue pants with white lines going down the sides, orange high-top sneakers, and two wristbands, a brown one and a neon green one, on his left wrist. Later, Princess Carolyn gets another phone call from Mr. Peanutbutter. He's glad he knows she hates parties and they won't ever have that argument ever again. In The Stopped Show, the filming for Season 2 of Philbert has started. Although off-screen, BoJack reminds Mr. Peanutbutter that he was in a rehab facility, and Mr. Peanutbutter subsequently leaves. Also, in After the Party and What Time Is It Right Now, where he upsets and angers Diane by doing grand gestures for her and giving her elaborate gifts which she tells him countless times throughout their relationship she doesn't like. Diane agrees to this and assures him she's not in New York. After trying and failing to make it work, Diane confessed she was no longer happy and the two ended up getting divorced in season 5. Diane then apologizes saying that was a weird thing to tell her ex-husband. In Xerox of a Xerox, At VIM, Princess Carolyn and Judah are preparing BoJack for the interview and telling him what to say when Mr. Peanutbutter walks in and asks BoJack to mention Birthday Dad in his interview and to welcome him to the MBN Thursday night family.
